Arrive on time, at least 10 minutes before.

  Have your Permit/ Provisional Licence & Test Notification.

  Ensure your car is fully taxed and insured with a current NCT disc clearly displayed.

  Ensure your car is roadworthy, 'L' plates on front and rear.

   Are you at the right Test Centre!

   Know your Rules of the Road.

  The Tester will then proceed to your car.

  He/She will examine your car, checking lights, tax & insurance etc.

  You will be asked the secondary controls.

  Under the Bonnet - ask your instructor

  Check all doors are closed.

  Fasten your seat belt, the tester does NOT have to!

  Adjust your mirrors, seat, etc.

While you are driving

  Check your mirror regularly. Always check mirrors turning left/right.

  Be observant and aware. Listen.

  Anticipate in good time.

  CONCENTRATE!

  Watch your road position. Position correctly for entry to roundabouts.

You will be required to

  Reverse around the corner on the left-hand-side.

  Turnabout - turn the car about.
